The 5th stage begins with the "paradise way" starting in Njivice the sea along to Malinska and continuing to Porat (approx. 3.5 h), where one of the Franciscan monasteries is located. From there we follow on a macadam to the big oak cross on the hill “Fumak” and further on the macadam to the bathing bay "Kavlena" below the village of Policija. Further on a narrow path along the coast, at the “fisherman’s house” up to the stone church Sv. Krsevan and from there up to the village Milohnici or optional further along the sea to the monastery Glavotok and from there up to Milohnici. If you decide to include Glavotok, we recommend to start the stage in Maliska instead of Njivice. You save 6 km or about 1,5 h walking from Njivice to Malinska (the GPX file is tracked like this).
This stage offers 3 Options:
Njivice/Sv. Krsevan / Milohnici - approx. 20km
Malinska / Sv. Krsevan/Milohnici - approx. 14 km
Malinska/Glavotok/Milohnici - approx. 20 km
The bus starts in Milohnici directly at the Konoba "Pud Brest" to Krk at 16:00 on weekdays. Groups also can alternatively take the taxi boat "Santa Maria" of Glavotok (max.12 persons) at good weather conditions to Krk between June and September.
Summary: Altogether a flat stage with trails along the sea.
Starting point: bus stop Njivice or Malinska, bus of Krk to Njivice at 8:00
Destination point of the tour: bus stop Milohnici, bus back to Krk at 16:00
